We are looking for an intelligent, driven, and well-spoken team player to fill the vital role of Account Executive (internally, this person is called a Consultant). The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and/or publishing and the ability to work with highly educated clientele.

Responsibilities:

· Develop an understanding of each accepted incoming project and its author’s needs;

· Build investment projections and proposals;

· Acquire/close a portfolio of new service business;

· Provide service and guidance as needed for an existing assigned group of clients;

· Collaborate with internal team to develop new service paths to serve our clientele;

· Educate authors and new publishers on the publishing industry;

· Represent company as needed at conferences and events;

· Act as the liaison and advocate between new authors and Greenleaf's production, distribution, and marketing staff at project launch

Requirements:

· An intuitive ability to work well with a variety of people, including excellent listening skills;

· Minimum of three years in strategic account sales function;

· A drive and capacity to exceed targeted goals;

· A genuine interest in books and the written word;

· EXCELLENT written and verbal skills;

· The ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines;

· The ability to learn quickly and excel in a team environment;

· Strong computer skills (primarily Mac);

· A resourceful nature with an excellent ability to troubleshoot and work independently;

· Outstanding organization skills;

· A fantastic sense of humor.
