Missy Parks has spent her career empowering people to navigate the digital age with confidence. Her journey began in Washington, DC, where she introduced professionals across industries to the world of personal computers and software, with a focus on revolutionizing page layout, printing, and business operations. After moving to Vermont, Missy brought her expertise to noted ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s, teaching everyone—yes, even Jerry and Ben—the ins and outs of new technology. She then joined Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, which later became Keurig, where her role evolved into leading technical training teams driving large-scale digital transformations. Along the way, Missy earned a master’s degree in human factors and usability. She published research measuring the impact of interface design and digital learning on people’s ability to complete a standard task. Over the years, she has spearheaded digital transformation training programs and led remarkable teams that have prepared tens of thousands of learners to thrive during times of business change. After relocating to Minnesota, her training work expanded in size and scope and broadened into business transformation leadership roles, building upon technical expertise, human learning, and business transformation. Missy believes wholeheartedly in the power of digital transformation training to not only deliver measurable business success but also create an engaging and enjoyable experience for learners.
A lifelong learner herself, Missy attends classes and events weekly, tends a community garden plot in summer, and travels as often as she can. She volunteers with and supports organizations promoting culture, education, women, and the arts.
